About the event

Literacy, the ability to read and write well, is the most crucial goal of our education system. Literacy enables pupils to access the curriculum and makes many aspects of our daily lives (such as reading medical prescriptions, news articles, the bus timetable, food packaging instructions, a restaurant menu, etc.) possible.

So, how can we enhance our pupils' reading comprehension skills?

The University of Buckingham (UoB) International Diploma in Education (iDE) Programme is inviting you to a workshop where we will be:

  • Looking at the foundations of literacy and using the Reading Comprehension House, how the processes involved are related, work together, or operate in isolation
  • Discussing the 5 strategies that boost learner reading comprehension
  • Have an interactive session where you can use the strategies above at the webinar and understand how they can be implemented in your classroom.

As with all our events, punctuality is the key to not missing out on most of the essentials of this event. We will also encourage you to invite your friends and colleagues as we work together to provide quality education in our schools.

See you soon!
