CORRECTING MISBEHAVIOUR IN THE CLASSROOM: Logical Consequence vs Punishment

Another explosive series from the University of Buckingham Teacher Training Programme (UBTTP) where we will listen to experienced speakers sharing tips on best practices for correcting misbehaviour in the classroom and discussing their successes and challenges.

SPEAKERS:

Innocent Promise C.

Miss Promise is a teacher who is passionate about positively impacting the lives of children and is currently a trainee of the University of Buckingham Teacher Training iDE Programme. She holds a first degree in Microbiology from the Imo State University, Nigeria.

Rita Diya

Mrs Rita is a seasoned education practitioner, school head and administrator. She is one of the Mentor Leads on the University of Buckingham Teacher Training Programme. She holds an International Diploma in Education from the University of Buckingham and a graduate in the field of Office Administration and Technology from a reputable Institution in Nigeria.

Chinyere Unom

Mrs Chinyere Unom has been an educationist involved in teaching and supporting learning in school for the past 12 years. She is passionate about teaching children, adding value to the educational system and, creating a positive learning environment for the overall development of the child. She holds an M.Ed in Measurement and Evaluation and a B.sc in Economics Education from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She has undertaken several training including an NCFE cache level 3 diploma in specialist support for teaching and learning in schools from Newcastle College, Newcastle, United Kingdom. She is currently volunteering as a school administrator at Pacesetters Academy and, is a trainee of the University of Buckingham Teacher Training iDE Programme.
